Brotherhood's Altar right side in the church

The Brotherhood of the Scourged Saviour of the Wies, with around 350 members word-wide, was founded in 1755 and reanimated in 1983. New members are admitted twice yearly in a ceremony before the Brotherhood's Altar in the Wies Church. The Brotherhood preserves and cultivate the spiritual bond between them and the Scourged Saviour through its veneration of Him in the Wies Church and wherever else a similar belief in the suffering, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is particularly revered. The members, through their lives and prayers, seek to follow Him, proclaiming His death and praising His resurrection, until He comes again.
