By using the prayer page of the Wies you can tell God what’s on your mind. Anonymously to the world, yet God knows. And that way there may be people visiting the page who’ll be praying for your request, too.
My beloved child,
your heart is heavy, your soul is torn, your feeling sad, guilty, sick, unworthy? You have dealt with violence, you don’t know to whom to turn. You are happy and full of joy? You want to share your happiness with me?
I am your God and if you pray to me I do listen.
You think I can’t understand how you feel or that I am too far away to care?
I do care for you. To be with you, I gave away what was dearest to me, my only Son, Jesus.
When nobody cares, I do.
You are ill and you are afraid?
Come to me, all you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
You are burdened with a secret you dare not to tell anyone?
Come to me, all you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
You have the feeling that no one in the world cares for you? I do. And I invite you to come to me, all you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
You have dealt with violence, you have been beaten up or abused and you think I don’t care? I do. Please come to me, all you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
You don’t know where to turn to anymore and you are desperate, hopeless and without a clue how to move on.
Come to me, all you who are burdened and I will give you rest.
You are overflowing with joy. I am happy if you share your good news with me.
I am stretching out my hand to you. You can tell me anything in prayer. you can whisper to me, if your voice is broken. You can yell at me and I will listen. You can sing a song of joy and I will join you. I am waiting now and for all times to be your God.
| AND GOD SAID..... I said, "God, I hurt." And God said, "I know." I said, "God, I cry a lot." I said, "God, I am so depressed." I said, "God, life is so hard." I said, "God, my loved one died." I said, "God, it is such a loss." I said, "God, but your loved one lives." I said, "God, where are they now?" I said, "God, it hurts."
